Character Points are the basic currency of character ability in GURPS, allowing a player to increase attributes (such as ST, DX, IQ and HT) and Advantages.
Typically, an adventure will have a character point maximum, which determines the general power level of the adventure.
Unless specified otherwise in the ability description point costs Rounds up. For negative numbers this means closer to 0.
