Daredevil (B47) [15] is a mundane mental advantage.

Conditions[]

Although "take risks" is how the trigger is initially phrased, "unnecessary risk" and later "high-risk behavior" is used.

Cumulatively this implies that any risk which triggers it needs to be both unnecessary AND high.

Of course HOW high (and what is or is not "necessary" .. necessary for accomplishing WHAT exactly?) remains vague.

"In the GM's opinion" is parenthesized in regard to determining the necessity.

The example given is someone with a firearm behind a wall (able to return ranged fire while enjoying partial cover) who opts to exit cover to attack.

Benefits[]

There are two benefits to the advantage:

  • a bonus to skill rolls
  • an option to reroll

What is not clarified is if the reroll option applies to ALL rolls in the situation, or only to "skill rolls", as a followup thought to the bonus.

there can only be one[]

You get one reroll. Yes, you could read the instructions as a pure logical statement devoid of connotation, but no rule is written that way.

levels[]

S26:

At the GM’s option this can be a leveled trait

Described as "suicidal idiocy in combat"
