External Sources Only is a limitation on Magery where mages must draw on something, not necessarily “energy,” to work magic.
Examples:
- External Energy Only: FP must come from external sources like Powerstones, allies and familiars lending you power, etc. This is mutually exclusive with Can't Use External Energy.
- Item Magery: spell casting requires an item of power.
