Defaults: IQ-6, Smith (Copper)-4, or Smith (Lead and Tin)-4

Jeweler/TL (IQ/Hard) is the skill to work with precious metals, make jewelry, decorate weapons, etc. A successful roll can also identify a precious metal, fem, or determine the value of a bauble.

Jeweler includes gem-cutting and gem-setting. It often requires a delicate touch, with expert jewelers benefitting from high manual dexterity.

Main PC Uses

• Appraising loot (similar to Connoisseur)
• Making silver bullets and silver-lined explosives

• Can use Metallurgy at Jeweler-8
• Can do copper, tin and lead work at Jeweler-4

• Gifted Artist includes this skill!

Equipment

• Jeweler's Kit, $700, 5 lbs. It's essentially a miniature but precise blacksmith kit.
