Rome never fell after Nero Claudius Drusus didn't die in 9 BC and became emperor. (Incidentally preventing Christianity from arising with a general pardon for all prisoners, stopping the Crucifixion.) The Roman empire eventually collapsed into civil war, but in the 18th century, Hesperia (ex-Roman meso-America) fell into rivalry with Britannia, and, in 1806 invaded Europe with a fleet of steamships, reconquered Rome, and proclaimed the third Roman Empire, still standing in current year 1893.
