  • Minion is free (not +50%) for characters who are nonsentient (IQ0) or have Slave Mentality
  • B263 Automaton meta-trait includes Slave Mentality, and is explicitly called out in Basic/Magic as guaranteeing beings lack free will ("intelligence" IQ1+ was changed to "sapient" IQ6+ from basic to magic, due to Animal Control spells being added

Zombies[]

M152's Undead Templates created via M151 Zombie (spell) all have Automaton and thus Slave Mentality.

  • they all have Indomitable too though, making them immune to social skills in normal situations, requiring empathy advantages to use them
  • they have Reprogrammable which is probably how it's possible to give them commands, B150 "slavishly to the letter" (no creative interpretations)
    • since they are still sentient they can still have interests in doing things besides following programming
      • being Incurious as Automatons are though, they probably will not be interested in the external world
        • being unimaginative (Hidebound) they probably will not be interested in the internal world
